Corporate Misconduct: CEO Views and Attitudes

AIM to reveal results of survey on CEO perceptions and policies
    toward organizational misconduct

    Center for Corporate Responsibility

The Business and Social Research Desk of the Office of the AIM Dean, in cooperation with AIM’s Ramon V. del Rosario, Sr. Center for Corporate Responsibility and Hills Governance Center, will conduct a conference to announce the findings of a survey co-designed by research guru, Dr. Eduardo L. Roberto, and theSocial Weather Stations (SWS) on CEO Perceptions and Policies towards Corporate Misconduct.

The event will be held at the SGV Hall of the AIM Conference Center on Monday, July 5, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The opinion survey conducted over the past year explores the views and attitudes of senior executives on corporate misconduct practiced by middle/senior managers and rank and file employees; how companies react upon learning about misconduct; and which company department is perceived as most open to misconduct. The study would be useful in understanding corruption, especially in areas or activities where there is strong interfacing between government and business enterprises. The SWS was the agency responsible for the field data collection and initial data tabulation.

    The program will be brief:

9:00 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies and Introduction of Guest Speaker
    9:10 a.m. – Presentation by Dr. Eduardo L. Roberto
    10:30 a.m. – Coffee Break
10:50 a.m. – Reactions from the Business Community and an Open Forum
    11:50 a.m. – Closing Ceremonies
