- Ask your team members as to what they think about your management style for you to be able to know if there are possible problems with your leadership that needs to be addressed.
- Learn how to take feedbacks— may it be good or bad as these may let your team members realize that you are not after personal gain but are concerned for the overall welfare of the group.
- Listen to other people’s problems, relate well with them and know how to offer solutions to problems in the most effective and discouraging way.
- Think before you speak. You surely do not want to say anything to any of your team members that you would definitely regret afterwards.
- Know how to value the skills and abilities of individual members of your group by entrusting them with tasks that you think they can do.
